Who we are and what we believe.

 

Who We Are​

Royle Johnson and his wife Bogusia currently reside in Sisters, Oregon. Royle is an Electrical Engineer and Bogusia works in the dental field. They are both committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have a desire to assist people to come to faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. They are parents of Jennifer, Nathan, and Matthew along with their son-in-law Jason and daughter-in-law Kaytlin. Royle and Bogusia have been blessed with five grandchildren Caleb, Colette, Piper, Jet, and Maddox. Royle is a graduate of Simon Greenleaf School of Law 1985 with a degree in Christian apologetics.

 

What We Believe​

The Bible is the Word of Truth – John 17.17 “Your Word is Truth”. It is “God inspired” and is to be used for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness” – II Timothy 3:16,17.

“God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in “spirit and in truth” – John 4:24 God exists in three persons – “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” – Matthew 28:18-20.

God loves us and has sent Jesus Christ to save us – John 3:16. “All men have sinned “– Romans 3:23 and are “separated from God” – Ephesians 2:1-3. Jesus Christ is the only Savior – I Timothy 1:15. “There is one God and one Mediator between God and man – the Man Christ Jesus” – I Timothy 2:5. Jesus Christ was born to save sinners – Matthew 1:21.

Jesus Christ is the Way , the Truth, the Life – “no one comes to the Father except through Him” – John 14:6, Acts 4:12. Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried and rose again the third day – I Corinthians 15:3,4.

God is patient, “not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance” – II Peter 3:9. “If we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God has raised Him from the dead we will be saved” – Romans 10:9,10.

“If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” – I John 1:9,10. For those who have trusted in Jesus Christ and have believed that He is Lord,” they are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise “– Ephesians 1:13,14.

The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers and He desires to empower all believers to be Christ’s “witnesses in all the world” – Acts 1:8. Christians are to be “salt and light in the world” – Matthew 5:13-16.

Christians are to live their lives in “holy conduct and righteousness” – II Peter 3:11. Christians are not to be “conformed to this world’s system but are to be transformed by the renewing of their minds” – Romans 12:2.

Christians are to “go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” – Matthew 28:18-20. The Christian’s” citizenship is in heaven from which we also wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” – Philippians 3:20,21.

Jesus Christ” will come again and receive all Christians to Himself” – John 14: 1-3 and we will be with Him forever – I John 5:11-13. The Christian Faith is rooted in the Gospel. As Christians we are called to preach the Gospel, explain the Gospel, defend the Gospel and live out the Gospel. The Gospel is centered in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, He was buried and rose again – I Corinthians. 15:1-3. Our salvation is by faith alone, through grace alone and in Christ alone – Ephesians 2:8,9
